More than 200 U.S. Organizations to Exhibit at ADIPEC Petroleum Industry Conference in Abu Dhabi

More than 200 U.S. exhibitors are expected to be on-hand at the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) November 9–12, pursuing business opportunities in a context of low oil prices, surplus supply, intensifying environmental pressures and a rapidly changing global economic environment.

The U.S. contingent visiting the United Arab Emirates for the event comprises about 10 percent of the exhibitors expected at the formerly biennial, now annual event.

The U.S. presence at ADIPEC, featuring such industry giants as ExxonMobil, Schlumberger and Baker Hughes, is organized by Kallman Worldwide, Inc., the official U.S. Representative of the show, in coordination with numerous government agencies, including the U.S. Commercial Service.

The centerpiece of this national effort is the 3,400-plus sqm (gross) U.S. International Pavilion. Consisting of space in Halls 7, 8 and 13 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center, the Pavilion is a primary destination for buyers looking for an efficient way to meet U.S. companies, and an on-site business hub for U.S. exhibitors looking to maximize their exposure and time at the event.

"When the U.S.A. commits to exhibit at ADIPEC, we're saying we believe in the power of this event to attract real business prospects and customers. The steady growth and diversification of this show speaks for itself," said Kallman Worldwide President and CEO, Tom Kallman. "As the organizer of the U.S International Pavilion, our team is proud to help our exhibitors capitalize on this international business event to grow their share of the regional marketplace, and further extend our nation's global oil and gas leadership."

Of the 104 U.S. companies participating in the U.S. International Pavilion, 35 are new to the show, and ten of those are also new to the market. Ranging from publicly-traded stalwarts to privately-held innovators, Pavilion exhibitors represent a cross-section of leading American suppliers looking for new export opportunities and to strengthen regional business relationships.
