ISSA, the Worldwide Cleaning Industry Association, named Clorox® Disinfecting Wipes as the 2015 ISSA Innovation Award winner in the Cleaning Agents category at the ISSA/INTERCLEAN® North America 2015 trade show in Las Vegas.
The annual ISSA Innovation Award program provides the cleaning industry the opportunity to determine the industry's most innovative products and services. For the past few months, industry professionals have voted online and at the ISSA Conference for the best products in five categories: cleaning agents, dispensers, equipment, services & technology and supplies.

Clorox Disinfecting Wipes are Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)-registered to kill 99.9 percent of common illness-causing germs including Methicillin-resistant Staphyloccocus aureus (MRSA) and Bordetella pertussis, the organism that can cause whooping cough. In addition to nine new EPA-registered disinfecting claims, Clorox Disinfecting Wipes now have 12 allergen-removal claims and offer 10-second sanitization—the fastest contact time available for bacteria, according to a news release from Clorox Professional Products Company. The manufacturer also says Clorox Disinfecting Wipes are compliant with OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standards, which applies to occupational exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials.
