Recondo's presence at AAHAM this year will include client presentations and in-booth demonstrations.
Alongside Carolinas Healthcare System—one of the largest health systems on the East Coast—Recondo will present an educational session on automating
the patient access process to reduce denied accounts and denied dollars
while making the majority of transactions entirely "touchless."
Carolinas Healthcare System Director of Corporate Patient Access Jonathan Johnson
will join Recondo's Advisory Revenue Cycle Consultant Elizabeth Stass
in presenting "Engaging Touch-Free Practices at Carolinas Healthcare
System: A Case Study on Automation in the Revenue Cycle," on Thursday, October 15, from 2pm - 3pm in the Macaw room, lobby level.
The presentation will detail how Carolinas Healthcare System used Recondo's SurePayHealth® and Auth-DP™ solutions to drive significant increases in collections and productivity:
- 24.7 percent decrease in denied accounts
- 46.7 percent decrease in denied dollars
- 28.35 percent increase in pre-service collections
- Decrease in "touched" accounts from 100 percent to just 20 percent
- Reduced FTE levels while adding additional facilities to pre-service area resulting in less people doing additional work
The full case study is available free for downloading on www.Recondotech.com/Resources.
