RT Imaging Expo Set for Cancun in 2016

RT (Recycling Times) Media announced Thursday that it the 2016 RT Imaging Expo will be held in Cancun, Mexico (June 2–3), reflecting the increased demand for international suppliers to provide quality non-infringing ink and toner components and consumables to businesses in North, Central, and South America.

Mexico is one of the largest business hubs in the Americas, and RT Media considers Cancun to be strategically positioned at the intersection between North and South America—a gateway to Latin American (LATAM) countries, the USA and Canada. RT Media expects the event will attract visitors and exhibitors alike from North America, LATAM, the Caribbean, and the rest of the world.

While North America is the single largest print consumables market, the combined Americas region, including LATAM, represents over one-third of the total global market. The LATAM print consumables market has shown steady growth with diversified demand for Aftermarket cartridges, including remanufactured, new-built cartridges, imaging papers, parts and components.

Many companies in the USA, Europe and Asia now look to this region for business expansion. This year, leading industry players like Clover, LMI Diamond Dispersions, Orink and Pantum have expanded operations, factories and distribution centers and formed new partnerships there.

The RT Imaging Summit, a dedicated imaging industry conference, will also be held at the Cancun Exhibition & Conference Centre at the same time as the Expo. International industry experts will share their insights into new technologies and products, market news and legal issues affecting the industry. Specialists will share their views on market trends and e-commerce selling channels. Participants will have open microphone panel sessions to ask questions and also discuss hot industry issues.

Tony Lee, Managing Director of Recycling Times Media Corporation, commented: "As the industry's leading media and events company, we continue to offer a better business platform for companies to expand and prosper. The event in Mexico will be very attractive to exhibitors and visitors from North and South America."
